Rastatt's museum for contemporary art has been located in the rooms of the former fruit and flour hall of the federal fortress of Rastatt since 1993. Located in the middle of the city center, the Städtische Galerie Fruchthalle shows group and solo exhibitions of modern artists as well as works from its own collection on art in Baden after 1945. The promotion of young artists and the integration of international positions is also an integral part of the exhibition program.
